The U.S. Army Aviation Center established the Order of Anne Morrow Lindbergh Award in 1997. It is an annual award that recognizes individuals who have voluntarily contributed to the improvement of their communities. These individual must demonstrate the highest standards of integrity and moral character, display an outstanding degree of personal ethics, and selflessly serve the Aviation community with distinction.
This award is not intended as a PCS award. It is intended to acknowledge an extended period of support and service. A battalion, squadron, brigade headquarters, and other separate battalion size agency will present no more than one award per year. Each nomination is judged on its own merit, and not against other nominees.
USAACE is the executive agent for the award process. USAACE G-1 is the action office for the award process for USAACE.
The appropriate brigade/colonel-level commander or activity director should forward the completed nomination packet to the USAACE G-1 at the following address:
Bldg 5700 Novosel Street, Room 220 (ATZQ-PE)
Fort Rucker, Alabama 36362
