Ellis W. Golson entered service from Lyeffion, Alabama, in July 1972 as a cadet at the United States Military Academy, West Point, New York. Upon graduation in June 1976, he was commissioned a second lieutenant of Armor and assigned to the 4th Battalion, 69th Armor Regiment in Mainz, Germany. More
Concepts, Experimentation, and Analysis Directorate (CEAD) identifies capability gaps, and develops appropriate requirements to mitigate and close capability gaps for the future Army Aviation force.
CEAD is responsible for developing concepts of operation for Aviation in a combined arms environment in conjunction with other TRADOC schools and centers. Conducts experimentation on the concepts to ensure requirements are identified and capabilities are achievable across the DOTML-PF.
CEAD conducts analysis on all required capabilities to ensure cost effectiveness and ability to achieve success in any operational environment.
