Our Mission: The Fort Rucker Training Aids, Devices, Simulations and Simulators Branch is a multifaceted organization comprised of the Training Support Center and Multimedia Visual Information Service Center. Our mission is to assist customers with their overall success by providing excellent Training Support and Visual Information capabilities.
Our Vision: Our approach is centered on supporting the U.S. Army Aviation Center of Excellence, Fort Rucker and our Area of Responsibility customers. We provide adaptive training and instruction and dynamic versatile visual information products that align and strengthen our Army’s rapidly changing environment. We are committed to holistic planning and execution while providing effective and efficient utilization of our resources both today and for the future.
TSC encompasses several service support areas whose goals are to provide our Warfighters with a comprehensive suite of training enablers. TSC provides maintenance and operation for items such as the Engagement Skills Trainer 2000 (EST 2000), HMMWV Egress Assistance Trainer (HEAT). Train-the-Trainer Classes are available for simulators such as IWS Miles, Blast Simulator, TC6 Landmine and many others. The Warehouse provides one stop service to users requiring training aids support materials and devices. The Device Fabrication Shop provides locally fabricated devices to enhance classroom training.
The Multimedia Visual Information Service Center (MVISC) is an authorized DA facility that provides a versatile range of visual information products and services; studio photography, field documentation photography, graphic design and production, multimedia, video and audio production, video documentation, and audio visual presentation support services for a variety of local events. MVISC provides visual information products and services to satisfy official mission requirements.
