Reference librarians provide in-depth literature searches upon request and will assist you with finding resources for papers and briefings. Subject bibliographies and information packets on hundreds of other topics are provided upon request. Need a book or article that we don’t own? Just ask and we will try to get it for you from another library. There is no charge for this service.
The Library has twenty networked computers (NIPRNET) for official government business. Use of the computers is limited to active military and DoD civilians. CD/DVD writers and document scanners also are available for patron use.
Wireless service is available through a local internet service provider (not the Fort Rucker network). Users must provide their own laptops equipped with a wireless card. Register for a daily account pass at the library circulation desk. See Wireless Access Policy for more details.
SIPRNET access is available to active duty personnel with proper authorization and security clearance. Please call the Library Chief at (334) 255-3912 for additional assistance and information regarding SIPRNET use.
Prints microfiche or microfilm to paper or saves as PDF file (such as your personnel records).
Print hardcopies, or scan and email directly from the copier. Photocopying is restricted to library materials only, subject to copyright restrictions.
Library patrons may reserve the Multipurpose Room to view videotapes or DVDs, to meet with a small group, or to study. Cable television and Internet access also is available.
Equipped with a large table that seats ten, Internet access, a computer with projection system, a white board, a smart board, and a television with cable connection, the ATL Conference Room is a comfortable meeting place for small working groups. Call (334) 255-2944 to reserve the conference room.
