Ready Army

Ready Army

Ready Army is the Army's proactive campaign to empower Soldiers, their Families, Army Civilians and contractors to prepare for all hazards. Through outreach and education, Ready Army calls our Army community to action and aims to create a culture of preparedness that will save lives and strengthen the nation.

There are a range of natural and man-made hazards that could affect you, and emergencies often leave little or no time to react. When emergencies occur, military and civilian organizations respond, but it takes time to mobilize, and they focus on the most critical needs first. Remember, emergency preparedness is everyone's responsibility. You should get ready to take appropriate action during an emergency and manage on your own for at least three days afterwards. Ready Army provides the tools and standardized checklists to support you as you prepare.

It's up to you. Prepare Strong!
