Professional Development

The purpose of the Professional Development Initiative Group is to improve job performance by providing cost and time efficient workshops that address the immediate training needs of USAACE and Fort Rucker personnel.

The PDIG is responsible for:

  • Collecting training ideas from Fort Rucker/USAACE personnel based on perceived training needs;
  • Providing a link to training resources that are already available but, perhaps, unknown;
  • Developing specific and personalized training opportunities by taking advantage of resources already available or by developing products that will suit job performance needs;
  • Working in conjunction with other training development facilities (i.e., DOTD Staff and Faculty) to ensure that any workshop offered supports official training that is already being provided;
  • Providing training to both Soldiers and Civilians.
