Casualty Assistance, located in Building 5700, Room 102, is open from 7:30 a.m. - 4:15 p.m., Monday - Friday and 24-hours on call during non-duty hours. Fort Rucker serves as a Casualty Area Command for all counties of Alabama, except for the counties served by Fort Benning, namely Autaga, Bullock, Chambers, Chilton, Coosa, Elmore, Lee, Macon, Montgomery, Russell and Talapoosa. Fort Rucker also serves the Florida panhandle counties of Bay, Calhoun, Escambia, Gulf, Holmes, Jackson, Okaloosa, Santa Rosa, Walton and Washington. The Fort Rucker BOSS Program was established to meet the leisure and recreational needs of single and unaccompanied Soldiers through innovative, fun-filled recreational programs and rewarding community service projects.
BOSS provides a vehicle for communication between the single Soldier community and the installation command that fosters the U.S. Army Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation philosophy: That single Soldiers are entitled to the opportunity to recommend policy changes that will enhance their overall quality of life, to participate in recreational and leisure activities of their choice and to contribute to their local communities.
Meetings are held on the third Thursday of each month in the Single Soldier Dayroom located in building 8350 beginning at 4:00 p.m. These meetings are for all BOSS representatives at every level. Event planning meetings are held every Thursday at 4:00 p.m. Meetings are held in at Building 6813, Dust Off Street. Well-being issues addressed during BOSS meetings will be submitted to the senior military advisor, Garrison Command Sgt. Maj. Buford E. Noland, to seek resolution through the appropriate channels.

The Combined Federal Campaign gives military and civilian employees the opportunity to donate to local charities and organizations in the Wiregrass.
CFC is the only authorized agency to solicit donations, either by a one-time donation or through payroll deductions from federal employees at their workplace. The campaign is conducted during October every year. The CFC Bus Tour, open to military and civilian employees, visits several Wiregrass charitable organizations that receive help from the Fort Rucker CFC.

The Defense Military Pay Office, located in Building 5700, Room 120, operates Monday - Tuesday 7:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.; Wednesday 7:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.; Thursday - Friday 7:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Soldiers must report to the Battalion S1 to obtain a DA Form 2142 (Pay Inquiry) before reporting to the DMPO.
