Better Opportunities for Single Soldiers (BOSS)
The Fort Rucker BOSS program was established to meet the leisure & recreational needs of single and unaccompanied Soldiers through innovation, fun-filled recreational programs, and rewarding community service projects.
The BOSS program provides a vehicle for communication between the single Soldier community and the installation command that fosters the U.S. Army Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation Command Philosophy: That single Soldiers are entitled to the opportunity to recommend policy changes that will enhance their overall quality of life, to participate in recreational and leisure activities of their choice and to contribute to their local communities.
Meetings are held on the 3rd Thursday of each month in the Single Soldier Dayroom located in building 8350 beginning at 1600. These meetings are for all BOSS Representatives at every level. Event planning meetings are held every Thursday at 1600. Meetings are held in the BOSS building: 6813 Dust Off Street. Well being issues addressed during BOSS meetings will be submitted to the senior military advisor, Garrison Command Sergeant Major Dwaine E. Walters, to seek resolution through the appropriate channels.

Combined Federal Campaign
The Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) gives military and civilian employees the opportunity to donate to local charities and organizations in the Wiregrass.
CFC is the only authorized agency to solicit donations, either by a one-time donation or through payroll deductions from federal employees at their workplace. The campaign is conducted during October every year. The CFC Bus Tour, open to military and civilian employees, visits several Wiregrass charitable organizations that receive help from the Fort Rucker CFC.
