Equal Employment Opportunity Office
The Equal Employment Opportunity Office is the principal advisor to commanders, managers, supervisors and employees in assuring equal employment opportunity for all employees, applicants for employment, former employees and certain contract workers. EEOO provides direction and coordination for the development and implementation of plans, policies and procedures for the installation's affirmative employment programs. EEOO also develops and conducts training in the prevention of sexual harassment, diversity management, EEO for supervisors, managers and employees and other matters related to EEO.
The EEOO provides an array of services to employees, commanders, managers and supervisors with regards to equal employment opportunity and human capital management on a routine or as required basis.
EEOO maintains a 24-hour hotline for reporting sexual harassment and/or any other issues an individual feels necessary with confidentiality. The hotline number is (334) 255-9558.
The Equal Employment Opportunity Office provides the following support to the Fort Rucker community:
- EEO complaint processing with an alternate dispute resolution program (mediation);
- Training and development;
- Ethnic and national observances;
- Seminars and workshops;
- Employee surveys;
- Community outreach programs
