Freedom Fest promises fun for Families

Families looking for a good time this Fourth of July can expect big things from Fort Rucker, according to Directorate of Family, Morale, Welfare and Recreation officials.

The annual Freedom Fest event is from 4-10 p.m. July 2 at the Fort Rucker festival fields and features a variety of things for attendees to enjoy, including a special performance from the Lt. Dan Band featuring Forrest Gump and CSI: New York star Gary Sinise. More

Freedom Fest Parking Map

The following items are prohibited at Freedom Fest

  • No Coolers, Tote Bags or Backpacks (except for medical and baby care items)
  • No Pets
  • No Fireworks of any kind allowed
  • No Glass Containers
  • No Weapons to include Guns, Knives or Pepper Spray
  • No Bicycles, Scooters, Roller Blades or Skateboards
