Chaplain and Religious Support Office

Our mission is to take care of Soldiers, Family Members, and Civilians and set the conditions for Mission success. We do this through religious activities and programs such as worship, pastoral care and counseling, religious education opportunities, and ceremonies such as baptisms, marriage, and funerals. We cordially invite you to share in and benefit from these rich, spiritual activities.

The Fort Rucker Ministry Team offers a variety of programs to meet the needs of Soldiers and Family Members. These include worship services, religious education, prayer gatherings, fellowship times, Bible and religious book studies and counseling services.

National Day of Prayer Luncheon

Please come and join us as we lift our prayers across the nation at the Fort Rucker National Day of Prayer Luncheon on Thursday, May 7, 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., at The Landing. The speaker for the occasion is Coach Tommy Bowden, former head coach for Clemson University. Tickets are available at a suggested donation of $5.00 per person and can be obtained (no later than April 30) thru your unit representative, unit chaplain or the Religious Support Office, Building 8945, 255-2989/2012.

The National Day of Prayer is an annual day of observance designated by the United States Congress, when people are asked "to turn to God in prayer and meditation." The theme for this year's event is "Lord, Hear Our Cry," emphasizing the need for individuals, corporately and individually, to place their faith in the unfailing character of their Creator, who is sovereign over all governments, authorities, and men.  The event promotes resiliency and comprehensive Soldier and civilian fitness through spiritual development.

This event is open to the public. View Flier
