Chaplain and Religious Support Office
The chaplains and staff at Fort Rucker promote religious life by providing religious activities and programs, pastoral care, pastoral counseling, and other religious ceremonies such as baptisms, marriage, and funerals. The Fort Rucker community is cordially invited to share in and benefit from these rich, spiritual activities.
The Fort Rucker Ministry Team offers a variety of programs to meet the needs of Soldiers and Family Members. These include worship services, religious education, prayer gatherings, fellowship times, Bible and religious book studies and counseling services.
Worship Services
Vacation Bible School
Children of Fort Rucker and the Wiregrass Community, kindergarten through 6th grade, are invited to attend the “Wilderness Tabernacle Adventure” Vacation Bible School, June 10-14, 2013, 8:30 – 11:30 a.m. at the Main Post Chapel Complex, Buildings 8939/8940.
VBS is a week-long event featuring songs, games, arts, crafts and Bible stores. Parent-child options are available for adult caregivers with preschoolers and special needs children. Mothers of Preschoolers
Mothers of Preschoolers is a Christian-based mother’s group. MOPS is about meeting the needs of every mom of a child from conception through kindergarten. MOPS meets every first and third Thursday at Wings Chapel, Building 6036, at 9:00 a.m.

Protestant Women of the Chapel meets every Tuesday at Wings Chapel, Building 6036, at 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Childcare is provided.
Military Council of Catholic Women
The Military Council of Catholic Women meets every Tuesday at the Spiritual Life Center from 5:30 - 7:00 p.m. Childcare is provided.
